What is Redlands Wildlife?

Redlands Wildlife is a non-Government funded initiative which has been designed to ensure the protection of native wildlife and their habitat in the Redlands area of South-East Queensland, Australia.

We are further committed to the prevention of cruelty to all animals and the promotion of sustainable, eco-friendly living practices.

What does Redlands Wildlife do?

We are involved in bushcare in the Redlands, undertaking rubbish and weed removal and native flora regeneration projects, follow our achievements in our online forum.

Actively campaign for the protection of wildlife habitat in the Redlands. Our current campaign against the destruction of the West Eprapah Wildlife Refuge can be followed in our online forum.

We provide an educational resource via our wildlife pages in order to inform people what native fauna call the Redlands home and subsequently increase public awareness and compassion in this regard.

We're involved in the West Eprapah Creek Bushcare Group. We're a small group that meet fortnightly, have fun and socially interact while preserving our native bushland. Follow our progress here.

What does Redlands Wildlife plan to do?

We have identified several future goals, including:

Participating in community wildlife education initiatives through attending schools, retirement homes and community groups to discuss, display and promote the values of wildlife conservation.

Establishing a central facility in the Redlands to enable effective native wildlife rescue, rehabilitation & release.
